The ENERGY STAR Most Efficient designation was designed to advance highly efficient products in the marketplace that are truly exceptional. As a company that thrives on innovation, LG is committed to both the Most Efficient program and the ENERGY STAR program in general.
LG has earned the Most Efficient designation across its suite of products. In 2013, nearly 80 LG-brand HDTVs, refrigerators and washing machines were recognized as ENERGY STAR Most Efficient and in total American consumers purchased more than 1.6 million ENERGY STAR Most Efficient LG products.
LG Electronics was named an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for 2013 and 2012. The ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year honor is bestowed on manufacturers and retailers that successfully promote and deliver ENERGY STAR qualified products, saving consumers money and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. LG and other honorees were selected from about 20,000 organizations that participate in the ENERGY STAR program. Over the past 20 years, American families and businesses have saved nearly $230 billion on utility bills and prevented greenhouse gas emissions equal to those from more than 350 million vehicles with help from ENERGY STAR.
